The miners’ strike in Spain has been going on since 31st May and is in resistance to austerity measures introduced by the Spanish government. Police violence has been a feature of the dispute since day one as have mass protests in support of the miners.  The miners in Spain on on the European front line of the working class fight back against austerity that is affecting all of our lives.
